Create SEPA QR Code generates an EPC-compliant SEPA payment QR code with currency fixed to EUR, as required by the standard.

It is designed for situations where you want a payer to scan a code and have key transfer details prefilled in their banking app.

When creating the payload, you must provide exactly one remittance field: either remittance_reference or remittance_text, but never both.

This constraint helps keep the payment purpose unambiguous and aligned with typical SEPA usage.

The feature also enforces the EPC payload size limit, so the total encoded content must remain under 331 bytes.

Be mindful that long beneficiary names combined with long remittance text can exceed this limit and require shortening.

The QR code can be placed on invoices, displayed at checkout, or shared digitally to streamline payments.

It is particularly useful for recurring payments, event registrations, membership fees, and one-off invoice settlement.
